Do You Have Piles Symptoms?
Do you have piles? Piles, or haemorrhoids are quite common, especially once we reach about 35 years of age. Piles symptoms typically include itching, burning, rectal pain, or rectal bleeding. In most cases, the symptoms will disappear within a few days, but those few days can be torture if the symptoms are severe. An over-the-counter topical treatment from the pharmacy can relieve the symptoms until they disappear.
The most worrisome of the piles symptoms for most people is the bleeding. A small amount of bright red blood will be present on the stool or bath tissue causing many people to fear cancer. While anyone seeing blood in their stool should see their doctor just to make sure, bright red blood is usually surface blood, not the result of internal bleeding, which would be a darker red.
The best way to prevent piles symptoms is to keep stools soft so they pass easily. This decreases the strain and pressure placed upon the veins in the rectal area which is the cause of piles. Emptying the bowels as soon as possible after the urge hits a person is also an easy way to prevent piles. The topical treatments for piles only ease the piles symptoms, it’s up to a person to prevent the return of piles. Some people seem to e more prone to getting piles, this could simply be a dietary issue where they are not getting enough fiber.
